Designed as a private retreat for a couple visiting family, this bedroom draws on Japandi sensibilities — the quietness of Japanese minimalism met with the material warmth of Scandinavian design. Neutral tones, earthy textures, and wood accents work together without competing, producing a room that feels genuinely restful rather than decorated.

Before

After

Within a 28sqm footprint, the room earns every square metre. A custom built-in wardrobe runs cleanly along the wall, a working desk sits where light falls naturally, and a platform bed anchors the sleeping area without dominating it. Natural wood finishes and neutral base tones run throughout — consistent enough to feel cohesive, varied enough to avoid monotony.
Serenity green appears quietly — in textiles, in small décor moments, in the undertone of certain finishes — never loud enough to take over, always present enough to be felt. A dedicated TV corner handles casual relaxation without cluttering the room's clean lines. The overall effect is a space that functions fully as a guest room while feeling closer to a personal sanctuary.
